No. If you're an artist with real experience teaching or working with kids, you're exactly who we're looking for — right alongside credentialed art teachers. What matters is that you're great with children and great at your craft.
Families pay Palette & Smock tuition, and we pay you a clear, agreed per-lesson rate — reliably and on time. You're supported as faculty, so you never have to handle invoicing or chase payments. As you earn great reviews, you move up to higher rates. We'll walk through exact pay during onboarding.
We do. That's the whole point. You don't market yourself or hunt for clients — we build the demand and match you with families near you who want what you teach.
Yes. You set your availability, the ages and mediums you specialize in, where you teach (the student's home, your studio, or online), and which students you take. It's fully flexible and non-exclusive — keep any other work you do.
Private, one-on-one lessons (about 60 minutes) at the student's home, your studio, or online. You can also offer small groups (siblings or friends). Across the year, you and your student build toward a finished piece for the Palette & Smock Art Annual.
