Hi! I'm Maya — a painter and longtime art teacher based in Nyack. I specialize in watercolor and drawing for younger kids, and my whole approach is gentle and play-first: we make a mess, we laugh, and confidence grows lesson by lesson. I've taught in after-school programs and private studios for six years, and nothing makes me happier than watching a shy beginner light up when they realize they made that. Every student I work with builds toward a finished piece for the Palette & Smock Art Annual.
